Indian Hills Christian School seeks State Charter
Indian Hills has completed the first section for being a state chartered school and has received the Letter of Approval from the state. Students are now eligible to receive busing transportation services to the school. Local districts will pick up students and transport them to Indian Hills.
Chartered non public schools are those school that have provided evidence of adherence to the Operating Standards for Ohio Schools and are therefore officially chartered by the State Board of Education. Chartered non public schools can choose to have a religious based curriculum. Credits and diplomas will be recognized by other schools. Being chartered means being accredited by the State Board of Education and brings validity to our schools educational program.
Indian Hills will be adding a before school program. Students whose parents work will be able to drop off students at 7 am. The school also offers an after school program where students may stay until 5:30. The school offers a discount on tuition to all local pastors of churches.
