Our Pre-school program is geared toward getting students ready to enter kindergarten. IHCS’s goal is to assist parents by providing Godly training, a quality education in a Christian environment and to make learning fun.
Pre-schoolers will learn to recognize their alphabet and numbers by hand on activities and use their fine motor skills, which is developed by coloring and writing. We also use phonics to establish the sound of each letter. We have “Bible time” where students learn Bible stories and verses to bring an awareness of God into their lives. Craft time is a great time for our students not only to learn to use scissors, paint, and glue, but a time for them to be creative. Our classroom is staffed with a teacher and an aid who loving guide the students in academic activities and spiritual truth.
Pre-school times are Monday through Thursday from 8:15 to 11:30 am, for part-time students and 8:15 to 3:15 pm for full-time students.
